Our not-for-profit community enterprise, opened it's doors fully in September of 2025.

We foster traditional skills, support ethical production, and serve as a vibrant hub for community engagement.

Our Community Services

1) Indoor Market (Galway's only permanent indoor market):

Our weekly indoor market (every Saturday + extra days seasonally) is where we provide indoor market stalls for local sustainable food producers and beauty, craft and design makers.

This market also supports people to shop sustainably, featuring high-quality beauty, food, craft and design products.

2) Performance Space: a venue for music, poetry, plays, the spoken word and more!

3)  Community Cinema: where we show classic movies and documentaries as fundraisers for our community enterprise (sweets and popcorn too!)

4) Art Gallery: a dedicated gallery space for local/national artists to display their work.

5) Repair Cafes: regular repair workshops (starting 2026), where the public can come with broken household items that our volunteers can either fix for free or for a donation.

People who are interested in learning how to fix the item can do this as well.

We will also have teddy bear and doll hospitals running throughout the year. 

6) we provide affordable or free workshops throughout the year e.g., arts & crafts workshops child (and camps too) and adult classes, wood turning, DIY, wreath making, basket weaving, etc.

7) finally, we also host other Circular Events regularly throughout the year e.g., Halloween Costume Swaps!

'The Green Market' (your community sustainability hub) is a hive of activity and support for local people in Connemara (and the people of Galway City/County) interested in living and celebrating more sustainably.
